A list of escape-time sets, plus the ones you save. Pick one, then pan and zoom until something looks worth keeping. Drag a card by its grip to reorder it, or into a folder.

One formula, iterated until it escapes, from starting values you set. Add variables of your own, or have one made up. Render it once, or save it to the menu.

Invent makes one up, out of powers, bars, waves, earlier steps and c Tweak moves this one a step: an exponent, a bar, a term each press draws again

z c x y numbers i pi e + − × ÷ ^ ( ) and | | nest in colour abs re im conj exp log sqrt sin cos tan sinh cosh tanh |z| is abs z zₙ₋₁ is the step before, back to zₙ₋₈

x y the real and imaginary parts of the point being checked, in a starting value or the formula z₀ = 0 with c = x+yi is the Mandelbrot set a z₋₁ appears for each step the formula reaches back, and the orbit starts there an added variable takes x and y as well, and holds its value as c does

Save adds it to the menu under this name, and keeps it in this browser.

Fixed in this first version: the orbit escapes at |z| > 100, and the zoom stops at 10⁶.
